Have I mentioned this somewhere else? I'm not sure. Have I mentioned I'm getting a little forgetful? I'm not sure. Anyway...
I believe in infinity, so probably everything I write kinda hints at that. It's a very simple concept yet very difficult to imagine. No end to anything... ever! We've all spent our lives, presumedly, encountering all sorts of finite limitations. There are national borders, state lines (love their chips), county lines, end of the line, last day of the month, last day of the year, last day of our lives, eventually. Even though you come up to an ending you can see beyond that terminus to the following year or the neighboring county or life beyond the grave for some lucky believers.
So, I see infinity as a circle of sorts. Maybe a spiral might be more accurate since you would never really return to the beginning. That would be the opposite of infinity in a way I guess. The key though to my thought is, you are always in the middle in that same sense as that proverbial never ending circle. The difference being you would never pass the exact same point again, hence the spiral.
It's hard to believe there is no end to something... ever... due to our life experience. It is, likewise, hard to believe there is an end to everything since we can usually see the blue horizon and at least imagine what lies beyond it. If there is nothing... well, what could that even be like? I mean, not space. Space is something. So what happens at the end of space? There's got to be more space, right? And then what? More space? For infinity?
